Hats Off to "Hats Off" Photo Shoot!

Don't fret -- there were no actual bodies killed in the making of this photograph!  However, I will say that there were a few times my talented crew (along with myself!) wanted to blow our brains out with the meticulous nature of this shoot (have you ever tried assembling 10 skulls out of a kit with super glue, have no clue what you're doing, and then realize you wasted hours putting together 3 skulls you didn't even use!?!).  Thx to Steve, Mike, Marco, Kat, and Anthony for making this image in my "Murder Artists" series come alive (or dead, whichever you prefer)!!!

Ecce Homo: Behold the Man

So here's the results after my lighting test (see previous blog)....  My Infamous "Murder Artist" Series Continues! ..... "Ecce Homo: Behold the Man" is the third portrait I've shot for my "Murder Artist" project. A zillion THANKS to Emeka Amene (model) and Kat Laskey (makeup artist) for making this shot happen -- I would've impaled myself on the image's knife otherwise!!! Concept is left up to your imagination.... Side note: This is my most stripped down set to date with only ONE (1) prop used (a 30"x40" custom-made frame). Miracles do happen!!! Next projects? "Playing with Fire" and "The Suicide Artist" -- stay tuned!
